Hello Friends and Family!! As most of you know, I am an adoptee as was my brother James. We were blessed to be brought up in an amazing family filled with love and tons of laughter. I could not have asked for a better upbringing. In the 1960's, a young couple--one a printer and one a secretary could afford to adopt 2 children within a few years and still live in a nice home in the suburbs. Unfortunately, the cost of adoption today is out of reach for so many due to financial reasons. HelpUsAdopt.org has been changing that story for the last 10 years. Becky Fawcett, a fellow Fummer and Tri Sig sister (from Franklin & Marshall) is the founder of this organization after being blessed with increasing her family size with 2 beautiful children through adoption. I am asking each of you to find it in your hearts to donate $10 to this cause. Of course, you can give more, but know that each dollar goes towards adoption grants. Your money helps build families. November is National Adoption Month. Please help build families. Homes need kids and kids need homes!
For the last ten years, we have helped place children in permanent homes so they can grow up knowing the support and love of a family; so that they can receive the life-saving medical treatments they require; so that they can enjoy just being a carefree child. But for every family we help, there are 10 more we have to turn away. We can't help but think about the children and families we are not able to help; they are no less deserving.

Helpusadopt.org is a national 501(c)(3) financial grant program that helps couples/individuals (regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, marital status or sexual orientation) with the cost of their adoptions by awarding grants up to $15,000. We support domestic, international and foster care adoptions and does not charge our applicants to apply. Since 2007, we have awarded 230 adoption grants totaling over $2 million.
